Steven LaBella

President and CEO

Steve started his first bill payment company, QuickPay, in the United States in 1996 at the age of 26. QuickPay allowed consumers to make bill payments in cash at local retailers. Steve sold his company to American Payment Systems in 2000. In 2004 American Payment Systems was subsequently sold to CheckFree Services, the largest bill payment service in the US. Steve was promoted to lead the walk-in bill payment unit for CheckFree Services. During his tenure, Steve lead the effort to expand the CheckFree walk-in network to large retailers which resulted in long-term contracts with several of the country’s largest retailers.

Bob Reeves

Chief Financial Officer

Bob has 20 years experience in finance and strategy leadership roles for Payment and Technology companies. For ten of those years, Bob served as the finance leader for the International Units and has analyzed/implemented numerous International Acquisitions.  He began his career at Equifax and has worked at Secureworks and Harland along the way.   For two years, he served as CheckFree’s Electronic Payment Division’s Finance Leader where his team supported the business unit run by Steve LaBella.

Denise Delisle

Vice President, Customer Operations & Compliance

Denise has over 20 years experience in managing customer facing operations. For 15 years, she worked as the operational leader of a direct mail company analyzed business operations to establish departmental policies, procedures and metrics to ensure high performance standards in order to achieve customer satisfaction. Ms. Delisle spent 5 years in CheckFree’s Electronic Payment Division directing process improvement using a variety of tools including Six Sigma and Lean in an effort to ensure the payments were made on time every time. Denise is committed to providing the highest level of customer service possible.

Merrick Theobald

Vice President, Marketing

Based in the US, Merrick has more than 18 years of B2B and B2C marketing experience for both domestic and international organizations, with 10 of those years concentrated within the payments industry. Prior to joining iSend in 2010, Merrick worked for eight years at CheckFree/Fiserv as a marketing executive, leading the marketing teams responsible for CheckFree’s walk-in bill payment unit, its electronic billing and payment solutions, and its health club management software.  He was also a member of CheckFree’s Applied Research & Technology team, which drove new product initiatives and product development for the organization. Previously, Merrick served in marketing roles at VerticalOne, a division of S1 Corporation, a financial services software company.

David Kirtman

Vice President, Business Development, US and Latin America

David has significant experience in the prepaid industry, with expertise in business development and strategy, finance, product development and management.  His strong international experience includes the development and launch of innovative cross-border, stored-value products. Prior to joining iSend in 2009, David worked at IDT as a Vice President, where he contributed to the development and operation of a $100 million stored value and prepaid business, designed and executed strategies to enter new markets and structured and marketed a variety of platform services to retailers and processors throughout Latin America. Prior to IDT, David spent 3 years at Unilever Mexico and 2 years at Salomon Brothers.  He holds an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Carlos Obregon

Vice President, Business Development, Latin America and the Caribbean

Carlos has spent over 10 years in the international cross border industry. Prior to joining iSend in 2009, he founded several companies that specialize in providing cross border products and services. These services were sold in US and delivered internationally including a variety of Insurance and Retail products.  In 2006, Carlos co-founded Procesa USA, a pioneer and leader in the cross border top up and bill payment industry.
