Steven LaBella - President and CEO. Steve started his first bill payment company, QuickPay, in the United States in 1996 at the age of 26. QuickPay allowed consumers to make bill payments in cash at local retailers. Steve sold his company to American Payment Systems in 2000. In 2004 American Payment Systems was subsequently sold to CheckFree Services, the largest bill payment service in the US. Steve was promoted to lead the walk-in bill payment unit for CheckFree Services. During his tenure, Steve lead the effort to expand the CheckFree walk-in network to large retailers which resulted in long-term contracts with several of the countries largest retailers.
Stuart Reis - Lead International Business Development Consultant. Stuart is the President and Founder of The Rye Group, a consulting company focusing on the money transfer space, e-payments, and innovation. Stu is a general manager and senior marketing executive with over 35 years of progressive management experience. Stu spent 15 years in the money transfer space, most recently as Senior Vice President/General Manager – MoneyGram, reporting to the CEO/Chairman, and earlier as Vice President/General Manager – Development for Western Union. While at Western Union, he developed and launched over a dozen new products including Quick Collect, now a $600+ million business, PhoneCard, the first nationally available branded prepaid calling card, and Western Union Money Orders.
Ronald Goldstein - International Business Development Consultant, Latin America and Carribean. Ron is based in Brazil and has 10 years experience in money transfer, transaction processing and payment solutions. Most recently, Ron served as Business Development Director for the Nexxar Group of Companies- a money transfer, transaction processor and payment solution company with presence in 80 plus countries. Responsible for their private label division targeting banks and retailers in Latin America & the Caribbean, Ron has closed & negotiated deals in countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Jamaica and others. Previously, he worked at Western Union in their Agent Network division developing services and training their global sales force; and as a Business Development Manager for Latin America.
